    -What is the problem you had before consulting Kawai?
    We had a problem with our machine meant for heating a silicone-like liquid so we contacted Kawai for heat consulting. The problem was that our heater was radiating heat in all directions instead of just at the liquid at the center. As a result, we had heat escaping into the sides. We thought placing the heating rods closer to the middle would help direct the heat into the center however the result was the same. Eventually the heat would seep outwards.

    -Did Kawai offer an adequate solution?
    Yes, our problems have been answered and we are very satisfied with the solution. The sales representative explained that the problem is unavoidable so we should focus more on the silicon rather than the heat escaping. He showed us the optimal place to position the cartridge heaters to effectively get the job done.

    -What was a nice surprise you experienced with Kawai?
    It was nice that Mr. Kida (the sales representative) had a lot of expertise in the heating field. Every time we asked a question, he answered with precise answers. We did not expect that before this meeting. Kawai’s sales representative is a very knowledgeable problem solver.

    We are looking to use heaters to test our products at different temperatures and are looking for partners to help us with this. We contacted Kawai to share our goals, products and operations and see if Kawai is a suitable partner. Essentially this meeting was to get acquainted with Kawai and have them acquainted with us.

    Kawai has the products that would help us. They also share our dedication to quality. This would make them compatible partners. We looked at other companies before making a decision.

    When we asked a question, the sales representative was able to answer it precisely in a way we can understand. This is unexpected because we did not expect someone with sales to have such an engineering insight. This was a nice surprise.
